This increase is due to the rising steel costs the U.S domestic steel mills have passed down to the manufacturers. We do not expect this trend to soften in the upcoming months. The steel mills are running at their full capacity and with demand high and supply low we are at their mercy when it comes to pricing.

On two occasions this summer I have done business with Baker Metal Works and both times they were very professional, easy to deal with and had everything I needed in stock the same day plus their price was more reasonable. I have plan to use them again soon and I would highly recommend this business to all my friends and family!

The best place to go for all your metal roofing needs! I prefer the location in Baker Florida versus the one in Cantonment, just North of Pensacola Florida on highway 29. Only because the taxes are cheaper in Alabama and I’ve never found a long line in Baker. That’s mainly because the people who built the facility in Baker must have crashed landed there… I mean, it’s out there in the middle of nowhere! Sales staff at both locations are knowledgeable and attentive. They also sell 1×3, non-copper pressure treated furing strips in 14′ lengths for a competitive price. Check-em-out!
