Douglas County Daily Cases Update
DCHD reported 163 more positive cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing the local case total to 69,045 since the start of the pandemic.
The rolling seven-day average is 152 cases, down from 163 on Tuesday.
The health department has reported a total of 61,757 COVID-19 recoveries to date.
Douglas County hospitalizations were 79% full, with 332 beds available. ICU bed occupancy is at 70%, with 102 beds available, according to Wednesdays DCHD release. There are 126 COVID-19 hospitalizations locally, 36 are in ICUs, and 18 are on ventilators.
DCHD is also monitoring eight more people who may have COVID-19.

Bakers Pharmacies Offering Vaccinations
Bakers announced on Wednesday that the grocery chains pharmacies are taking appointments for Moderna COVID-19 vaccinations.
Vaccinations will be available starting Friday via the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program at Omaha, Bellevue, and Fremont locations.
In Omaha, vaccinations will be available at:
- 4405 N. 72nd St.
- 17370 Lakeside Hills Plaza
- 505 N. 155th Plaza
In Bellevue, vaccinations will be available at 3614 Twin Creek Drive and at 801 Galvin Road. In Fremont, go to 1531 N. Bell St.
Appointments for any of these locations can be made on Bakers websites.
Additionally, Bakers has begun to reaching out to customers who may have a missed appointments due to the pause of J& J to reschedule their appointment with Moderna, a Kroeger spokeswoman said in the Wednesday news release. These customers may also reschedule online, as well.
