Don’t Miss: How To Bake Frozen Lasagna

Tips For The Best Baked Beans

  • Dont drain the baked beans! Most of the liquid will evaporate during cooking, and the rest will turn into a thick sauce with a wonderfully concentrated flavor.
  • You can choose to brown the bacon beforehand, but dont cook it completely. Youll want the bacon fat to incorporate with the beans, as theyll bake to give them more flavor.
  • Stick to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. The beans need to cook at a lower temperature so they wont become mushy.
  • If your oven is already too busy cooking up other dishes, use the Crockpot! Simply throw all the ingredients into the pot and cook for 2 hours on high or on low for 4 to 5.
  • Baked beans taste better the next day! Feel free to make them one day in advance and just warm them up on the stovetop before serving.
  • Have leftovers? Store them in an air-tight container and refrigerate them for up to a week.
  • Baked beans freeze wonderfully! Let them cool completely and store them in a freezer-safe container. Freeze them for up to 3 months.
  • To reheat the frozen beans, thaw them overnight in the fridge and bake them at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes or until bubbly.

Review Of Big Bone Bbq

I have eaten here a few times and will go back. I have gone with the kids or ordered take out with the hubby. We like the Ribs and Pulled Pork. They have the best baked beans ever! I also like that when you order a party pack the Beans, Coleslaw, Cornbread, Large Fries & Tub of Sauce are included. We have never had a bad meal here. The food is consistent so you always know what you are getting, which is good food! The prices are reasonable and we always enjoy it. The eating area is very small, so its hard to get a table during the busy times, but take out is always good.
