Police Trying To Id Suspect In Holdup At Honey Baked Ham
Police are trying to identify a man who robbed Honey Baked Ham on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. The business is located at 7001 Crestwood Boulevard in east Birmingham.
The holdup happened Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at the business at 7001 Crestwood Boulevard in east Birmingham.
Birmingham police Officer Truman Fitzgerald said the suspect entered Honey Baked Ham and demanded money from an associate of the business. While demanding money, the suspect kept one of his hands inside a pocket as if he had a weapon.
Fitzgerald said the robber was unsuccessful at getting any money. No injuries were reported.
He is described as a Black male wearing a blue hoodie with the word Reebok in white, black jeans, navy blue Adidas with red stripes, clear latex gloves and a blue hospital mask. He had a low haircut.
Anyone with information on his identity is asked to call Birmingham robbery detectives at 205-254-1753 or Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.
The Birmingham Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a robbery at a Honey Baked Ham. Watch the video above and see if you recognize the suspect.
Police said the robbery occurred on June 8 at the Crestwood Boulevard location.
“While demanding money, the suspect kept his hand inside one of his pockets,” police said. “The suspect fled the scene after unsuccessfully attempting to steal U.S. currency.”
Police said the suspect was wearing a blue hoodie with Reebok in white, black jeans, navy blue Adidas shoes with red stripes, clear latex gloves, a blue hospital mask, and a low haircut.
No one was injured during the incident.
Anyone with information is asked to call BPD Robbery Detectives at 205-254-1753 or Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777. If the tip to Crime Stoppers leads to an arrest, Crime Stoppers will provide a cash reward.

I’ve lived in this area most of my life and have never eaten at Honey Baked. This place is awesome! My husband and I split a BBQ Smoked Stacker and a Tavern Club. The Broccoli salad and Mandarin Pineapple Dream was super good as well. We will be back

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Birmingham Police Department detectives are conducting a robbery investigation.
Detectives said on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, a man entered the Honey Baked Ham at 7001 Crestwood Boulevard, and demanded money from an employee.
Officers said while demanding money, the suspect kept his hand inside of one of his pockets. The man ran off when he was unsuccessful in stealing any money, according to Birmingham Police.
The suspects description was the following: blue hoodie with the word Reebok in white, black jeans, navy blue Adidas with red stripes, clear latex gloves, blue hospital mask, and a low haircut.
No injuries were reported.
