Top Notch Accommodation In Walking Distance To Main Street Attractions
Parking is generous, the staff is friendly and fun, everyone of them from the café to the front desk to the cleaners. The location is a two block walk from most excellent bars, cafes, shops and the local scene so you can park it and walk the town and really feel like youve been to Nelson, which is a delightful and fun town to spend time in. The room was clean, the air-con was quiet, the security was good but not intrusive. The breakfast restaurant is like fine dining with very attentive staff, recommended. This is our third stay here for good reason. And the rates are far more reasonable than down by the water!

Great Place In Nelson
Our second time in Nelson, first time at the BW, and I would definitely stay here again. Its a bit more money than other properties maybe, but not terrible and to be honest it is worth it. The hotel is clean, staff friendly, rooms were clean and good size. Parking lot is a little small and it is across the street from the hotel, but otherwise the location itself is great. We had a late snack from their restaurant, and also breakfast the next morning. Both were excellent. No swimming pool is really the only negative we could describe.

Here is the Waterproof Eye Spackle Hues Advanced Primer and Eyeshadow in Mauve Majesty. I sound like a broken record here, but this is another innovative product. This is basically a cream eyeshadow that serves a dual purpose of being an eyeshadow primer and an eyeshadow itself. I had to twist it for quite a while to get it started, and then a ton came out, as you can see by the swatch! Do not over twist it like me, but at least you get to see the color well. It features a brush tip applicator. This product dries down to be fully matte and it does not budge/crease/fade! It absolutely works well as a primer and as an eyeshadow. I definitely want this product in more colors. Bravo, Laura Geller for sending me mauve stuff. You know me so well!

It’s that time of the year again. SkyFOX caught people waiting in long lines at a Honey Baked Ham store in LA.
LOS ANGELES COUNTY, Calif. – On Thanksgiving Eve, shoppers across Los Angeles County scrambled to get traditional staples in time for the holiday.
For many, the ultimate centerpiece for Thanksgiving is the protein and for some, buying a pre-made ham or turkey is the better and more convenient option even if it means temporarily practicing more patience.
On Wednesday afternoon, SkyFOX flew over Honey Baked Ham at its Glendale and West Covina locations. At both stores, patrons snaked around the building as they waited for hours in line to get the food needed to feast with loved ones.
The Honey Baked Ham website lists its ham at a starting price of $81.95 and $61.95 for a mini ham. An oven-roasted turkey costs $71.95 and for a whole turkey feast, one can expect to pay $138.95 before taxes.
According to the American Farm Bureau Associations 37th annual survey, the average cost of this years classic Thanksgiving feast for 10 will cost $64.05, or just less than $6.50 per person. This is a $10.74 or 20% increase from last years average of $53.31.
In 2022, one in four Americans said they plan to skip Thanksgiving altogether to save money in a year thats been challenging for singles and families as they navigate inflation.

Laura Geller Baked Eyeshadow Trio Review
Im not familiar with Laura Geller products, but I know theyre considered high end so I was excited to try something from this brand when I found this trio in a makeup outlet. I dont know if its even made anymore because I found it only on eBay.
This is a baked eyeshadows trio that contains the shades Leche, Macchiato and Espresso. If Im not mistaken, these shades were also part of a larger coffee-themed palette. Although these are baked eyeshadows they are matte. The eyeshadows are made in Italy and have 0.4 grams each.
The palette comes in a pale pink cardboard packaging with a mirror and those small sponge tip applicators that no one uses. I know it doesnt seem like anything exciting because theyre all neutral shades, but for me, its exactly what I needed in my collection. Im starting in a couple of weeks a new job at an office and although makeup is not prohibited or anything, it is expected to have a conservative look and natural, minimal makeup. I have plenty of neutral shades in my other palettes, but this little trio is perfect to slip into my purse or to take it with me on vacation because I also wear minimal makeup when Im just chilling with my husband. Plus, I wanted to try some Laura Geller eyeshadows.

Nice Hotel In A Great Location
It was just a quick trip and unfortunately I was only able to spend one night in Nelson. I will definitely be back though! It was my first time in the area and I was traveling with my dog. Luckily, the Best Western Plus is pet friendly and is conveniently located right downtown. The hotel was very clean. My room was on the main/lower level with a window facing the courtyard. The room was modern and immaculate. The bed was very comfortable and heavy curtains allowed me to make the room completely dark. I was able to have the best sleep in months! Parking is located in a lot right across the street. There are tons of great places to eat within walking distance of the hotel. My only negative comments would be in regards to traveling with a pet and staying at this hotel. There arent many areas in the immediate vicinity outside to take your pet to relieve themselves. I managed to find a small patch of grass on the next block. Also, it would be nice if there was a garbage bin outside to dispose of the pet waste. I did manage to find a bin down the street though. I would definitely stay at the Best Western Plus again next time I am in Nelson!

This is the third foundation in Laura Gellers Baked foundation line. This version provides full coverage with a matte finish. Unlike the other two shared previously, this can be applied wet or dry . Its long-wearing, sweat-resistant, and doesnt get cakey.
Overall, we noticed that Laura Geller foundation reviews were the best for this product because customers felt they could get better coverage. Customers said the foundation was great for fine lines and wrinkles, making the skin look nearly flawless.
Even more, it felt great on the skin because of ingredients like jojoba seed oil and other extracts. However, there were still reviewers that said they didnt get the coverage they wanted and used the powder to set other complexion products with a matte finish.

Great Location Friendly Staff
Our second stay at the Best Western Bakers Street did not disappoint. When you walk into the lobby you are greeted with the warmest, friendly welcome. Front desk staff is awesome and they will assist you in any way. The hotel is in a great location for exploring Nelson and it is quite at night. Rooms are modern, freshly renovated and nicely appointed. We like the Keurig coffee makers in the room and there is fresh coffee in the lobby if you want more. Parking is easier at the BW Baker Street than other Nelson hotels. Keep up the good work BW, cant wait to return. BTW, we went up to Woodbury and rented a boat and toured beautiful Kootenai Lake and we saw two other boats on the lake the entire day such congestion LOL.

Fourth is the Iconic Baked Sculpting Lipstick in High Line Honey. I actually own a total of four lipsticks, three that came in a set, and then this single, so we will talk about all of them next in bulk. For starters, I love the design impressed into the lipstick bullet. The curved tip hugs the lips and makes application really easy, but it is harder to swatch them on my hand for that reason. The packaging of the lipstick is incredibly high-end, as it has a matte finish, a magnetic closure, and overall a weight and feeling of quality. Formula-wise I find all of these to be creamy, moisturizing, and buildable to a medium to full coverage. I do not want to call them shiny or high shine, but they have more shine than a satin lipstick. Ultimately, I like the lipsticks, and I welcome more colors into my collection.

We booked from a few hours down the road and were told the government rate was not available or other types of AARP & or association discounts. The room was pricey but weve always enjoyed Best Western consistency. Yes its a weekend and I know theres a music festival in here but we felt this was not good value for the dollar. Weve stayed at just as nice hotels in this chain for a much more reasonable rate, esp considering this branch does not offer the usual continental breakfast, lobby coffee or other amenities Ive become accustomed to with this chain. This hotel is clean, tidy, modern, the service seams to be very good. The average traveler can find clean tidy & comparable accommodation in close proximity. As a motorcycle enthusiast I also like to have my bike closer than some parking lot across the street..
