Ez Modified Downdraft Paint Booth
RTTs EZ Modified Downdraft spray booths are designed to produce a high-quality finish in an extremely efficient manner. Used for industrial, automotive and wood applications, the booth intakes fresh air from the cleaner upper levels of the shop through a filter bank located in the booth ceiling, near the product doors.

Part of the booth design is the air flow. Whatever degree of air filtration and type of air composition you want, there is an air makeup unit for your operation. It all comes down to controlling the air flow both in and out of the booth with the correct pressure, temperature and timing. Proper air flow consistently keeps dust and dirt out so you can maintain perfect finished results and low energy costs.
The degree of air quality you want to achieve in your work space will determine if you need an open or closed booth model and why type of airflow. Automotive painting requires a very clean working environment because the smallest pieces of dust can ruin a finishwhich means lots of time wasted in wet sanding and buffing the vehicle to remove the dirt. While industrial equipment may be more tolerant of imperfections, many shops require paint booths that are positive pressure so the booth does not pull in any contaminants from the shop. However, if you have a dedicated room for spraying that is separated from activities that produce dust or debris, you may be able to get a less expensive open-sided booth.
Sizing your spray paint booth
There are two sets of dimensions to consider when preparing to buy a spray paint booth: internal and external.
In general, paint booths are sold by internal dimensions as thats usually the most important measurement. Standard booths are offered in two-foot internal increments but can be customized to fit your needs.

High Efficiency Convection Ovens
Spray Tech engineers and builds drying and curing ovens to provide excellent temperature uniformity around the part profile throughout the heating process for both liquid and powder curing applications. Any of the components and subassemblies used in our ovens are selected for NFPA compliance, quality and long life. All electrical and mechanical components are widely represented for local service and maintenance.
All oven panels, duct work and heater cabinets are designed by Spray Tech and manufactured in our factory. Typical oven configurations may include mechanical air seals, gravity seals, quiet entry zones and interior baffles to prevent air mixing near openings. IR pre-heat ovens may be used to gel over powder for applications involving high mass parts.

Please Note : The utilization of spray booth exhaust filters other than the RTT RP W-Series filters will reduce the RTT spray booth and AMU warranty period to one year. Temperature and humidity controlled systems do not qualify for the 5-year warranty. Please contact your local distributor or RTT if you have any questions regarding this program. RTT reserves the right to deny warranty claims if proper booth maintenance is not performed. This warranty is for parts only. Labor is not included. This warranty is not transferable.
