Heard about this place just about a year ago! Went there one other time last year and fell in love with their ham! Went there today and its just as good! I had the Ham Classic sandwich! OMG!!! This ham is so tasty! You can…get it with Swiss or Cheddar cheese, I chose Swiss. Lettuce, tomato, Mayo and their honey mustard Dijon sauce! This is DA BOMB!!! The honey mustard Dijon compliments it so much! Fresh croissant its on! Just mouth watering good! Love this place and Im sure you will too! Covid info: must wear mask prior to enteringMore

I love a good ham and the Honey Baked Ham Baker makes the BEST ham I have ever had in my lifetime. This ham is so good you cannot stop eating the ham! I actual gave up eating ham some years ago because I did…not enjoy the quality of the ham or the taste. But then I found the Honey Baked Ham Baker and I rediscovered the enjoyment of eating a high quality and properly prepared ham. I highly recommend you buy your ham from the “Baker” the next time you plan to have or host a dinner — your guest will be so happy, as will you!!! And while you are buying your ham, try one of their gourmet sandwiches!!!!More

The national chain HoneyBaked Ham offers up traditional spiral-cut hams with a variety of sides.

My house is two blocks from the Atlantic Ocean, except for a couple of days in October, when my house was in it. My family and I lived in a motel for more than a month, and while we’re lucky to have someplace to return to, I dread the thought of preparing for the holidays in my work-in-progress home.

That got me thinking about ways to streamline my Christmas entertaining. In all the years I’ve been writing this column, I try to focus on mom-and-pop operations family-owned businesses making food by hand, passing down recipes through the generations. I rarely write about national or regional food chains I like supporting small businesses and hope downtowns will be around long after the big box stores devour each other.

I’m making an exception for HoneyBaked Ham, which now has four locations in New Jersey, including a brand-new franchise in Red Bank . The Watchung store has been open for more than 20 years, and the quality of the food and convenience is hard to beat. It’s a one-stop shop, where you can buy your main event and choose from seven pre-cooked, ready-to-heat side dishes and seven desserts. Desserts? Just thaw and serve.

Side dishes come frozen in 2-pound pans. One costs $7.99 two are $14.99 and three are priced at $21.99. Gravy is $4.99 for 24 ounces.
