Keto Shake N Bake Chicken
My childhood favourite. Shake N Bake chicken growing up was so delicious and easy to make for quick weeknight dinners. Hey, that was in the 90s, when we didnt care how much bread/carbs we consumed!
Remember how you didnt even need an egg for coating? You just shake the chicken in a bag with the pre-seasoned blend and bake!
Talk about easy.
We all know those classic flavours of Shake N Bake breaded and seasoned chicken are so, so deadly good! So why not copy and tweak a few things to make it homemade and more health conscious?
It is actually super easy to change your favourite dish into one that actually doesnt involve gluten and breadcrumbs.
This will work for pork and veal, too!
Give it a quick stir in a bowl.
Keto Friendly Oven Baked Garlic Parmesan Ribs Recipe Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.2. Dry ribs and drizzle olive oil, sprinkle on seasonings for ribs and massage the ribs with oil and seasonings.3. Place ribs on a baking sheet, cover with aluminum foil and bake for one hour.4. When there are a few minutes of baking left, grab a bowl and mix all of the sauce ingredients together.5. After an hour of baking, remove foil and brush garlic butter sauce over the tops of the ribs. Return to the oven and bake an additional 10 minutes.6. Serve.

How To Oven Bake Ribs Without Aluminum Foil
I usually use aluminum foil but I have also baked them in one of those turkey steam bags too. Both ways come out super tender. I wouldnt suggest cooking them without a cover because they tend to dry out. If you must cook them without a cover, I would probably add a 1/2 cup water in the bottom of the baking sheet to create a steam bath to prevent them from drying out.

To prepare your keto pork chops, it’s super simple. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, then rinse your pork chops under water. Strain off the excess, dripping water and toss your pork chop into the bag with your keto breadcrumb mixture. Now, shake it like a polaroid picture! Or, um, like a Shake’N Bake pork chop. However you decide to shake it, just make sure the chops are covered in the mixture.
Put the breaded pork chops on a wire rack over a baking sheet, then pop in the oven for 30 minutes or until the internal temperature of the meat has reached 145 degrees Fahrenheit.
Side note: I topped these chops with grated Parmesan in the photos for a little garnish, contrast, je ne sais quois… I don’t really know. But it quite literally added nothing notable to the flavor of the dish. Don’t bother topping with cheese, please save yourself the calories and skip that silly business altogether. ?

How To Make Homemade Shake And Bake Pork Chops
Preheat oven to 400°F.
Add the almond flour, parmesan cheese, pork rinds, smoked paprika, onion powder and salt to the bowl of a food processor.
Mix until finely ground and well combined. Pour them into a sealable large food storage bag and set aside.
In another mixing bowl, add in the egg. Dip each pork chop into the egg, allowing the excess egg to drip off.
Then drop it into the bag, seal it up and shake to coat all sides of the pork chop.
Remove and set on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and lightly sprayed with olive oil non-stick spray.
Repeat the process until all the pork chops have been breaded. Lightly spray the tops of the pork chops with the olive oil non-stick spray.
Bake for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven, increase the temperature to 450°F and spray the pork chops again. Continue baking another 10 minutes or until the pork chops reach an internal temperature on a meat thermometer for at least 145°-150°F.
Allow the pork chops to rest for 10 minutes before cutting into them.

Crush the keto chips in their bags. Place the crushed chips in a food processor and pulse until they resemble breadcrumbs. Mix the chip crumbs with almond flour and seasonings. Place the mixture in a gallon Ziplock bag.
To cook the chicken or pork:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Mix the egg with the water and place the egg wash in a shallow dish or bowl.
Coat the chicken tenders or pork chops in the egg wash.
After coating the meat in the egg wash, place each piece of meat in the Ziplock bag with the keto shake n bake mixture and shake until well coated.
Remove the meat from the Ziplock bag and arrange it on the baking sheet. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until pork is 145 degrees or chicken is 165 degrees. Serve with your favorite keto condiments and enjoy!
