Registration Requirements And Procedures
- Students wishing to register in Adult Education Program must be 16 years of age or older and withdrawn from K-12 school. All students must complete an application for registration online or at the school site.
- After the application is completed, the student is required to present proof of Florida residency for tuition purposes
- Depending on graduation status, the student may be waived from the Adult Basic Skills Test
- All students are required to meet with a counselor prior to registering for classes. During this session, the counselor will discuss program offerings, and provide academic advisement. The counselor will also assist the student with the completion of a subject selection form.
- The counselor will review and initial all approved courses selected by the student each trimester. Students are required to complete one program before taking courses in another program area.
- Students are encouraged to register for a full trimester. All PELL, VA, DFAP, and agency sponsored students must register for a full trimester. Visa students must register full time , and are encouraged to register for the full trimester.
Acceptable documentations verifying in-state status are categorized as group A and group B. In order to prove Florida Residency and becoming applicable for In-State Tuition rates, all forms of identification must prove residency for atleast 1 year.

Technician In Aircraft Maintenance
This program trains students to work as aviation mechanics. Students who finish the Airframe and/or Powerplant Technician Program are qualified to take the FAA written and oral exams to become a certified Airframe or Powerplant Technician. Secondary students may continue their education as post-secondary students. The FAA has issued Certificate #CT9T072R to the school.
The General curriculum is a one-year prerequisite for both the Airframe Technician and/or Powerplant Technician programs.
Airframe: The Airframe Technician Program is a two-year program that focuses on the structures and systems of airplanes.
Powerplant: The Powerplant Technician Program is a two-year program that focuses on powerplant theory and the repair of aircraft engine operations and systems.
Students in the tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grades are the target audience.

Technician In Aviation Assembly
This curriculum provides a comprehensive, action-based education and experience foundation for a career in Aviation Assembly.
Students in 9th grade are the target audience.
Four elective credits are available
Throughout the curriculum, kites, hot air balloons, parachutes, gliders, aircraft driven and non-powered models, weather stations, and wind tunnels are utilized to teach topics and increase understandings. This program focuses on suitable preparation for the Aviation Maintenance Technician program, and it employs many of the same instructional approaches and types of practice as the Aviation Maintenance Technician program.

Airframe And Powerplanttechnician Program
This 2400 hour program prepares students for entry-level employment as an aircraftmechanic. Students may enroll on a part-time or full-time basis. The program alsoprovides supplemental training for persons previously or currently employed in theaviation industry. All courses are FAA approved. The program is divided into the followingsections:

Eight 60-hour blocks of instruction are a prerequisite for the completion of theAirframe and/or Powerplant Technician Program.
Airframe Technician
These 60-hour blocks of instruction provide an in-depth study of Airframe Structuresand Systems. Students are qualified to obtain an Airframe Technician Certificate uponcompletion.
Powerplant Technician
These 60-hour blocks of instruction provide an in-depth study of PowerplantTheory/Maintenance and Systems. Students are qualified to obtain a Powerplant TechnicianCertificate upon completion.
