How To Install Bak Revolver X4 Tonneau Cover

The install will be essentially the same for all of Baks roll-up covers. So no matter which version you have you should be able to follow the same steps and get it installed on your truck.

The Revolver X4 ships with one pair of rails, the roll-top assembly, and two bulkhead seals. To install the X4 you will need a 9/16 inch wrench or socket, a half-inch wrench or socket, and a knife or scissors. The thicker seal is used with trucks that have spray-in or painted bets. And a thinner seal is for beds with a plastic drop-in liner.

Install the bulkhead seal to the top of the bulkhead at the edge of the bed opening if the truck is equipped with a drop-in bed liner. Were just gonna unravel that were going to peel a little bit of our backing off on one side were going to stick it in place. You want to make sure you go all the way to the bed cap and you want to go as close to the bed of the truck as possible. Were going to place that were gonna stick it and then were just going to go little by little. All the way down our bulkhead. Try to keep it as straight as possible. Once you get to the end you can just trim off your excess and set that to the side.

Next, were gonna roll our cover all the way to the back, and then were going to check to see where our cover might come into contact with the glass in case we have a load back here that kind of shifts and rocks it forward.
