Well who wouldve thought you could get awesome cake from a vending machine. Well Carlos Bakery has them in Las Vegas and thank goodness. It was my birthday cake on my trip. I could hardly believe how awesome it was. There were several flavors to chose from. We went to the one inside the Miracle Mile Shops by Planet Hollywood Casino. A surprising pleasant surprise. We went on the first day the shop reopened. Everything looked fresh and yummy! It was hard to choose! The staff was so nice and they seemed happy to be back and gave us great suggestions on what to get! My favorite was the lobster tail! All in all it was clean, friendly and delicious! I will go back if Im ever in Vegas again!
Me and my partner went to the Carlos Bake Shop in the Venetian Hotel/Shopping Mall and bought 2 cookies which were amazing!!! I’ve always wanted to purchase something from one of his bake shop after watching his shows and it was so worth it!! The staff were really nice in here too, they were lovely.

So this shop is tucked away in a back hallway of the Canal Shoppes across from Buddy Vs. It is smaller than I expected and they had merchandise and a assortment of baked goods. It is well worth a stop if you can find it.

When Buddy Valastro from Cake Boss opened Pizza Cake at Harrahs on the Las Vegas Strip it had a Carlos Bake Shop Cake ATM . Recently, more Cake ATMs have been added to Caesars Entertainment casinos on the Strip.
The Carlos Bake Shop ATMs are at Ballys Las Vegas, Paris Las Vegas, Flamingo, Harrahs Las Vegas and Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. The cake flavors are Chocolate, Red Velvet, Vanilla Confetti and Rainbow. The cake slices are $8.95 and are restocked daily.
Who Runs Carlos Bakery In Las Vegas
Christina Nasso, the general manager and head baker and decorator of Carlos Bakery Las Vegas, worked at his original location in Hoboken, N.J., before taking over Cake Boss Cafe in New York Citys Times Square. The Cake Boss himself appointed Nasso to open his very first Las Vegas bake shop, where she runs all operations from the back of house baking to front of house customer service.

Carlos is a family owned bakery featured on the TLC hit show Cake Boss. Carlos, originally opened by Carlo Guastaffero in 1910, was acquired by Bartolo Valastro Sr. in 1964. Cake Vending Machine Coming Soon
Buddy and the folks at Carlos Bakery are bringing a cake vending machine to Harrahs, right outside his newest restaurant on the Strip Pizzacake. While we dont have a launch date yet, they have already opened a cake vending machine in Toronto. It features chocolate, red velvet, rainbow, cookies and cream, vanilla confetti and carrot cake choices, and are restocked throughout the day.
Is It Worth Purchasing
I tried the carrot cake, which has crunchy walnut pieces and a thin layer of cream cheese frosting between every layer. My second pick was the cheerful rainbow cake with vanilla icing. It was is a showstopper with seven-layers in purple, blue, green, yellow, orange, and red. Around the exterior, it had colourful sprinkles.
The desserts were remarkably fresh, and in a blind taste test, I wouldn’t be able to tell they came from a vending machine. Both were delightfully delicious, with an airy texture, without being overly sweet.
While it certainly isn’t the most affordable treat, the portions are very generous. Each piece is so gigantic you could easily share it with another person.
If you are tempted to try this celebrity dish, it is worth the one-time splurge. The novelty of getting a piece of cake from a vending machine was rather entertaining. While the quality of the product, won’t disappoint.

The Cake ATMs are at locations from Toronto to Hamilton to Ottawa, including Yorkdale Mall, the Rideau Centre and the Eaton Centre.
Each cake is baked in Hoboken and shipped to Ontario where the Cake ATMs are restocked fresh daily with flavors including Chocolate Fudge, Red Velvet, Cookies and Cream, Carrot and Vanilla Rainbow.

Montreal Malls Now Have Cake Vending Machines
Vending machines have had our backs throughout the years, whether it be for needing some chocolate while waiting at the hospital or a Red Bull while working in the library.
But one bakery, Carlo’s, decided to take vending machines to the next level by creating “Cake ATMs.” Yes, you read that right. Vending machines full of cake slices, which you can find in the following four Montreal malls:
- CF Fairview Pointe-Claire
- Galeries d’Anjou
Plus, there’s one in Les Promenades Gatineau. If you’re ever desperately craving a slice of cake while at one of these five malls in Quebec, Carlo’s Cake ATM will be there to save you.
One Montrealer, Emilie Rossignol, caught the express bake shop machine at Place Montreal Trust in action and shared it with the online world. In this video, you can see the option for four possible cake flavours: vanilla rainbow, red velvet, chocolate fudge and confetti.
On the machine, it clarifies that these cake slices were baked in Hoboken, New Jersey so they had to do quite the trip to make it to our city.
There are many of these cake machines in Ottawa and Toronto as well. The company even made a “Cake ATM Locator” to help you find the one nearest to you. Because let’s be honest, you never know when your next cake craving could hit, so this bakery presumably wanted to make sure you’ve always got a slice close to you.

Cake Boss’ Cake Vending Machines Available In Calgary
Straight from a hit reality show to your taste buds, a new way to pick up a piece of cake has arrived in Calgary.
Slices from Carlo’s Bake Shop in Hoboken, New Jersey the setting of TLC’s Cake Boss are offering instant sweet-tooth satisfaction from vending machines at four locations in Calgary.
The delicious dispensaries offer a variety of cake flavours from chocolate, carrot, red velvet and rainbow, at roughly $10 per slice.
CF Chinook Centre’s express bakery saw several customers on Friday and everyone appeared to be pleased with their purchase.
“That was pretty cool. I like how it just mechanically just gave me cake,” said Sophie Garcia.
The novelty of the experience is key, if not preferred, said another customer.
“I hate to say it but it’s kind of nice not to have to worry about human interaction in this day and age,” said Lisa Garci.
Korey Oleksow was drawn in by the cake design and sprinkles.
“It looks delicious it looks fabulous and wonderful so I mean how much more expression can you get in a single slice of cake?” He said.
Carlo’s Bake Shop and brand is led by Buddy Valastro, the same man who appears on the reality show that has been on air since 2009.
The cakes are baked in Hoboken and then shipped out to distributors.
The company has expanded with two dozen automatic bake shop locations in Canada. Calgary’s other locations include The Core, Southcentre Mall and CrossIron Mills.
More locations may be added.

Carlos Bake Shoppe by Buddy V is one of the most popular bake shops at the Venetian/Palazzo. Always long lines amazing chocolate dipped cheesecakes cannolis etc. Now they have a large atm like cake vending machines. Looks to be slices of his most popular cakes. Will be checking it out in a few weeks!

They claim to restock them daily. The cost is $8.99 and they are smaller than they look like in the vending machine. I have not tried a slice. I posted photos of these new vending machines on my website about 2 weeks ago. The vending machine at Harrah’s has been in place since Pizza Cake opened about 2 years ago.

These slices of cake may be baked in New Jersey, frozen and shipped to Las Vegas. They did that with the cakes shipped to Buca Di Beppo during the Holiday Season in Las Vegas. That was a huge promotion Buca had.
