These Cookies Are For Snackin
Its no secret that my children love cookies. Im embarrassed to admit to you how often they eat them One of the most loved snacks in my house was actually store-bought cookies, gasp! My kids just cant get enough of Entenmanns Little Bites. Their favorite is the chocolate chip cookies Little Bites.
Ive always meant to just make my own version and save myself the money, but life is crazy. I added it to the list of things I never got around to.
That is, until COVID-19. As I sit here typing we are on day 6 of quarantine. Grocery stores are open but chaotic. I am doing everything in my power to just keep my family home, healthy, and fed.
I really dont want to brave the store to replenish my childrens Little Bites stash so now became the perfect time to recreate them myself. To date, I have baked 5 batches of these cookies. I think its safe to say they are a huge hit. My kids are begging for me to make them more as soon as they run out. The cookies arent just great for kids, though. My husband and I have been putting huge dents in the supply also, yikes!

Bimbo Bakeries USA Inc. has initiated a voluntary recall of Entenmann’s Little Bites Soft Baked Cookies.
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Entenmanns Little Bites Soft Baked Cookies have been recalled, as they may contain plastic, according to the Food and Drug Administration .
Bimbo Bakeries USA Inc. has initiated a voluntary recall due to the potential presence of visible, blue plastic pieces in the individual packaging pouch. According to the FDA, the plastic is not baked into the product since it was introduced during the packaging process however, consumption of the plastic pieces may result in a choking hazard.
The product being recalled was distributed in various states, including New York. The package shows a best by date of Aug. 31 and Sept. 7. The UPC Code is 7203002378, and the Lot Code is 1350.
No Entenmanns Little Bites Muffins nor other Entenmanns products are affected, according to the FDA.
There are no reports of injury to date, but consumers should not consume the cookies. The recalled items can be returned to stores for a full refund.

The recall was issued after multiple consumers found large pieces of blue plastic inside their cookie packaging.
Bimbo Bakeries USA, Inc., the parent company of baked good giant Entenmanns, just issued a voluntary recall of the brands Little Bites Soft Baked Cookies in the 5 pack Mini Chocolate Chip variety in 36 states.
According to the report issued by the Food and Drug Administration , the Entenmanns products are being recalled due to the potential presence of visible, blue plastic pieces in the individual packaging pouch. This means that the plastic pieces arent baked into the cookies themselves since they were introduced during the packaging process. However, they may still result in a choking hazard. Entenmanns issued the recall after receiving multiple reports from consumers who discovered their cookie pouches contained chunks of blue plastic.
