Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter Peach Lights Review Swatches And Look

Ulta started carrying a big selection of MAKEUP REVOLUTION products, so I had to pick a little something up, right?

For research purposes!

There was a buy 2 get 1 free promotion going on, so the freebie I grabbed was the Vivid Baked Highlighter in Peach Lights.

The MAKEUP REVOLUTION Vivid Baked Highlighter contains 7.5 g of product, compared to a BECCA powder highlight, which contains 78 g of product. It comes in a black compact with a clear raised cover. It is embossed with a.well, I cant really figure out what that design is.

Peach Lights is a pale peach-y highlight. I was hoping it would melt into the skin a bit more when I applied it, but I found that it applied quite chalk-like. Since its a baked product there an insane amount of product that applied to my brush , but when I took the product from the brush to my face, the powder just didnt sink into my skin like I like my highlight to do.

Compared to Peach Lights, the Cover FX highlight in Celestial is paler and more of a metallic champagne. The Wet n Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder in Blossom Glow is a close shade, but its a bit warmer and leans more pink. Although the comparison shades are different compared to Peach Lights, I think Ill continue to use them over the MAKEUP REVOLUTION highlighter, because the formulas are much easier to work with. Sorry, Peach Lights, but youre headed to the destash pile.

Makeup Revolution have made quite a name for themselves since their launch back in March, and rightly so with their super affordable yet good quality products. The product I was most eager to try after the Iconic 3 Palette, was one of their Vivid Baked Highlighters as I love baked highlighters. The Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighters are available in three shades Golden Lights, Pink Lights and Peach Lights, and they retail for just £3 each. I currently own Makeup Revolution Golden Lights which at first, because of the name, I was worried would be too golden for my skintone, but I am very pleasantly surprised.

My Experience With Makeup Revolution Golden Lights Vivid Baked Highlighter:

As I have really oily skin, I generally skip highlighter during summer. My face naturally looks so shiny during summers that I skip it. But I love highlighting my face during winters. It makes me look so gorgeous. This is one of the best and most affordable highlighters available, especially when it is on discount.

It comes in a big, round packaging with a clear lid. Its really easy to identify the product. But there is no mirror inside the packaging. The pan is sturdy and travel friendly also. The quantity of this highlighter is really good and will last a really long time. Though it is available in other shades too, this one suits my complexion the best. This one looks like a whitish golden, not a yellow golden. It has very fine and smooth golden shimmer. It is almost a beige shade with golden shimmer. Overall the highlighter is very wearable shade for all skin tones.

When I apply it on my face, the golden shimmer is mainly noticeable and gives a luminous glow to my face. This particular shade is really pigmented. As it contains golden shimmer, only one or two swipes are sufficient. But do not put too much pressure otherwise you might end up looking like a disco ball. So actually trick is the application and the quantity. It looks perfect with bronze look and goes well with all of my blushes.

It is time for another Makeup Revolution review. Today it is about the Vivid Baked Highlighter in the shade Golden Lights. Like I told you before Im #therevolutionairies of the Makeup Revolution here in The Netherlands, which means I receive a box every month with some of their famous items to review. This month I picked the highlighter because I owned a highlight palette of them before but I forgot actually how amazing they are, and you should know. Even Khloe Kardashian said that the Vivid Baked Highlighter was her favorite . You can easily get your Makeup Revolution items at the famous Dutch drugstore called Etos. Curious how well this highlighter works and if it beats my favorite Jeffree Star Skinfrosts? Lets get started!

Makeup Revolution started in Londen. I can remember that my colleague brought me the famous highlighter palette for me all the way from her UK trip. I was super excited to try out the highlighter because she told me it was a dupe from another big high-end brand. Cant remember which one anymore but I do know that I was happy with it and thankful to get such an exclusive items which was very hard to get that time.

Now Makeup Revolution is available in The Netherlands for almost the same price as in the UK. The drugstore called Etos has a whole range of their makeup goodies in their stores, so you definitely need to check it out!
