I have been making these treats for my chihuahua for a few years now. She loves them. The first time I made these I bothered to roll out little balls after that I just roll it out on my silicone matt on a cookie sheet. I sprinkle the mat first with carob and/or coconut. Then roll out the dough, top with more carob and/or coconut, cut into little squares with a pizza wheel, pop in the freezer until firm, remove and break up the pre-cut little squares. I store them in a bag in the freezer so they do not go bad. Now the freezer is her treat cupboard! When you ask her what she wants, she goes right to the freeze. Again, thank you.

Health Benefits Of Peanut Butter & Coconut Oil Dog Treats

These tasty no bake dog treats are flavored with cinnamon and turmeric, which is optional to add. My family loves cinnamon added in all of our humanno-bake nut butter snacks. It adds a little bit of spice and satisfying flavor which compliments peanut butter. Not only are these spices good for flavor they have intense healing powers.

Turmeric is a spice that helps to prevent and even reduce tumors, reduces inflammation, decreases risk of cancers, heart disease and symptoms of depression. It is a rich antioxidant to aid in healing the body and fighting off disease .

Cinnamon is a wonderful anti-inflammatory spice. It is high in antioxidants, helps regulate hormones and supports a healthy heart .

Coconut Oil can help with weight loss and is packed with omegas to support a healthy brain, prevents candida, boosts digestion, reduce cardiovascular risks, and in animals especially, helps to give them a shiny fur coat .

Organic Valencia Peanut Butter is packed with protein and minerals. Make sure to use organic Valencia peanuts. Valencia peanuts are grown in Mexico where the climate is dry and mold most likely does not effect the peanut. Other varieties may have harmful molds in them during production .

If you have a smaller dog you can break them up into smaller pieces and give them in small bites at a time. There are various molds to use such as these larger dog biscuit shapes but you can also use small squares.
