  • It is easiest to use a stand mixer and paddle attachment for mixing this. You can mix my hand but it takes a bit longer.
  • Add all to mixing bowl. Set on low and let it mix.
  • After a few minutes it will form a dough, mix for an additional minute. Roll out dough to about 1/8 inch thickness onto a lightly floured surface. Use small cookie cutters of your choice repeating until all dough is used.
  • If the dough dries out just wet your hands with water and knead the dough until it is the correct consistency again.
  • Place them on a sheet of parchment or nonstick pan and bake in a 350 degree preheated oven for about 25 minutes until they are brown around the edges.
  • Start to watch them at 20 minutes in your oven since the thickness of the cookies and ovens can vary

I have been making these treats for my chihuahua for a few years now. She loves them. The first time I made these I bothered to roll out little balls after that I just roll it out on my silicone matt on a cookie sheet. I sprinkle the mat first with carob and/or coconut. Then roll out the dough, top with more carob and/or coconut, cut into little squares with a pizza wheel, pop in the freezer until firm, remove and break up the pre-cut little squares. I store them in a bag in the freezer so they do not go bad. Now the freezer is her treat cupboard! When you ask her what she wants, she goes right to the freeze. Again, thank you.

Cinnamon is a wonderful anti-inflammatory spice. It is high in antioxidants, helps regulate hormones and supports a healthy heart .

Coconut Oil can help with weight loss and is packed with omegas to support a healthy brain, prevents candida, boosts digestion, reduce cardiovascular risks, and in animals especially, helps to give them a shiny fur coat .

Organic Valencia Peanut Butter is packed with protein and minerals. Make sure to use organic Valencia peanuts. Valencia peanuts are grown in Mexico where the climate is dry and mold most likely does not effect the peanut. Other varieties may have harmful molds in them during production .
